Open Mats: The open mat slot is a time when members can come in and work on whatever they choose.

Weight Room: No one under the age of 18 is permitted to use the strength and conditioning equipment without approval from the Overtime strength and conditioning department.

Cardio MMA: Mike Corey will be showing members how to push themselves to their limits when training in mixed martial arts.  A former Marine Corps martial arts instructor, IFL veteran, and elite competitor on the local MMA scene, Corey is as well known for his well-rounded MMA game as he is for ultra-intense training habits.  If you're up for the ultimate physical challenge, want to go through a hard workout before you kick off your weekend, or want to take your MMA conditioning to the next level, this class is for you.

Advanced Boxing: Advanced Boxing is only for people who have competed in, or want to compete in, boxing, or for anyone who wants to train at that level.  The class will be mostly sparring and hard drilling.  Mouthpiece, head gear, 16-oz. gloves, and a cup will be required.  The training will be physically
intense.  Because of the nature of the class, you must receive prior approval from an instructor is you wish to participate.  Please talk with Gustavo Pique if you wish to be approved to go into the class.

MMA Fighter Training (formerly "MMA & Wrestling Circuit"): MMA FIGHTER TRAINING CLASSES WILL BE FOR INSTRUCTOR-APPROVED ATHLETES ONLY ( NOTE: Athletes who have already been regularly training in these classes are approved ).  These classes are intended for individuals who know how to spar safely, are familiar with a wide array of MMA positions, are in good enough shape to push through an intense 1 hour 30 minute MMA practice, and can learn at a fast pace.  Most new members will be asked to go to regular MMA classes for 6-12 weeks to start out with until they have a basic understanding of all of the skills involved in mixed martial arts training.  Please contact our staff if you would like to participate in Fighter Training classes.

MMA Class: We are offering a new series of MMA classes on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.  These classes are intended for athletes who are new to training in mixed martial arts, or who are new to certain portions of mixed martial arts.  The purpose of these classes will be for MMA enthusiasts and aspiring competitors alike to grasp the fundamentals of all of the primary disciplines, positions, and training habits involved in the broad array of skills that are encompassed by mixed martial arts.

These MMA classes will be open to all members, and they will be run in a six-week series.   New members are welcome to jump into the series at any time.  Before being approved for MMA Fighter Training (see above), members will very likely be asked to train for 6-12 weeks in MMA classes.  Even though many people have a background in one of the disciplines that make up mixed martial arts (boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, etc), it is necessary to get a background in all of the disciplines needed in order to be successful in mixed martial arts competitions.  It is also useful for an athlete with a background in one discipline to have a broad understanding of how the specific discipline that he or she knows well ties into the overall picture of mixed martial arts.

For members who are interested in combat sports, but are not sure that they want to go into all-out MMA training, this series of classes will also serve to let members feel out what discipline or instructor they are most comfortable working with.  With exposure to all different types of martial arts, such as boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, or jiu-jitsu, members can effectively make an informed decision about choosing what training regimen or competition team will work best for them.
