Demian Maia, who fought for the UFC Middleweight Championship at UFC 112, will be doing a seminar at the Overtime MMA facility on Sunday, June 13, 2010.
The seminar will begin at 12:30 pm and will run until about 3:30 pm.
Maia will spend about half of the seminar on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques with a gi, and about half of the seminar will be on grappling techniques with no gi. The cost of the seminar will be $90 at the door, or $80 if you pay in advance by June 10. For groups of four or more, the cost will be $70 if they pay in advance by June 10.
Demian Maia is a five-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion and a 2007 Abu-Dhabi Combat Club Champion. He is 12-2 as a pro, and is a top contender for the 185-pound UFC Championship. Demian's only American affiliate, Mark Turner, is an instructor at Overtime MMA.
